Minelab Detectors to increase in price
"Heads-up" if you're thinking about getting a Minelab next year. You might want to go ahead and get it now?
I understand that Minelab intends to raise the price of their metal detectors an average of 15% effective January 1st. Doing the math this equates to about $150.00 on a detector now priced at $1K. |

Yep - On the top of the line gold detector, the GPX4000 is going up about $500. The new price is about $4,500.
Used Minelab GPs are a real bargain, and can be had in the 1200 to 2500 range. Chris |
Re: Minelab Detectors to increase in price
The Minelab high dollar native gold detector is about worthless in the geo area in which I live. It is too sensitive...high mineralization in the ground drives it bonkers. Fisher Gold Bug II's are by far much prefered here.
Side bar... Kelleyco tells me that Minelab is discontinuing it's Excalibur 800 (8" coil) and continue offering their Excal. 1000 model with the 10" coil. |
